Description: THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS THE APPLICATION OF GREEN CHEMISTRY PRINCIPLES REGARDING THE USE OF GREEN SOLVENTS SUCH AS IONIC LIQUIDS (ILS) AND NATURAL DEEP EUTECTIC SOLVENTS (NADES), IN CHEMICAL PROCESSES AND IN THE PRODUCTION OF NEOTERIC MATERIALS WITH INDUSTRIAL INTEREST. THE GREEN SOLVENTS WILL BE USED (A) AS SOLVENTS AND/OR CATALYSTS IN MULTICOMPONENT REACTIONS FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF BIOACTIVE MOLECULES AND (B) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HYBRID MATERIALS (HETEROGENEOUS CATALYSTS) USING BIOPOLYMERS AS SUPPORTING MATERIALS.
