GEOINFORMATICS ENCOMPASSES VARIOUS APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS), REMOTE SENSING, GEOSPATIAL ANALYSIS, AND MORE. SIGNAL ANALYSIS IN GEOINFORMATICS IS PRIMARILY CONCERNED WITH EXTRACTING MEANINGFUL INFORMATION FROM GEOSPATIAL DATA IN VARIOUS FORMS, SUCH AS SATELLITE IMAGERY, DIGITAL ELEVATION MODELS, GPS DATA, AND MORE.
