Description: THE OBJECT OF THE SPECIFIC PROJECT IS THE DEVELOPMENT, SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF CARBON-BASED NANOMAFERIALS AND HYBRID MATERIALS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF NANOCOMPOSITE POLYMERIC MATERIALS WITH ADVANCED ELECTRICAL AND MAGNETIC PROPERTIES. THESE MATERIALS WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO EXISTING COMMERCIAL PAINTS SUITABLE FOR AERONAUTICAL APPLICATIONS TO ACHIEVE EM SHIELDING. SEVERAL COATING SYNTHESIS AND APPLICATION TECHNIQUES WILL BE DEVELOPED. FURTHERMORE, SAMPLES IN PILOT SCALE WILL BE PRODUCED.
