Description: | THE PROJECT AIMS AT EXPLORING ADVANCED METHODOLOGIES AND TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND MINING AND SPECIALIZED UNDERGROUND CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECTS. THE FOCUS WILL BE ON DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE AND SAFE PRACTICES THAT MINIMIZE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT WHILE MAXIMIZING EFFICIENCY AND STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY. THE RESEARCH WILL ENCOMPASS THE LATEST INNOVATIONS IN GEOTECHNICAL ANALYSIS AND NUMERICAL MODELLING, EXCAVATION/CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES, AS WELL AS MONITORING SYSTEMS. BY INTEGRATING THESE ELEMENTS, THE RESEARCH WILL PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE FRAMEWORK FOR DESIGNING UNDERGROUND STRUCTURES THAT MEET THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF SAFETY, SUSTAINABILITY, AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE |
