Description: | DESIGN AND PROTOTYPING OF A CONDITION MONITORING SYSTEM FOR THE GEAR PAIR OF THE ANEMOS 1 TRACK OF THE SKI RESORT OF KARPENISI. THE CONDITION MONITORING SYSTEM WILL INCLUDE THE NECESSARY NUMBER OF HIGH-ACCURACY ACCELEROMETERS FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF THE DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF THE GEAR PAIR DURING OPERATION AS WELL AS A MICROCONTROLLER TO COLLECT AND STORE THE MEASUREMENT DATA FROM THE ACCELEROMETERS, WITH ADJUSTABLE DATA COLLECTION FREQUENCY. THE COLLECTED DATA WILL BE TRANSFORMED TO THE FREQUENCY DOMAIN USING FAST FOURIER TRANSFORMATION AND WILL BE ABLE TO RECORD THE DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF THE GEAR PAIR OVER TIME THUS BEING ABLE TO PREDICT THE WEAR DEVELOPMENT. |
