Description: THE PROPOSAL EXAMINES THE EXPANSION OF BIPV_CITY AGAINST THE URBAN TEMPERATURE RISE DUE TO THE CLIMATE CRISIS. IT WILL AGAIN DELINEATE MODEL ARCHETYPES TO ASSESS THE LARGE-SCALE PENETRATION OF ROOFTOP PVS AND THE LIMITATIONS OF INNOVATIVE IMPROVEMENTS. AS PART OF (WP1), A LARGE AMOUNT OF GEOSPATIAL DATA WILL BE STATISTICALLY ANALYSED TO OPTIMISE THE EFFICIENCY OF SUNLIGHT POTENTIAL IN BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE. IN ADDITION, THE POTENTIAL OF EMERGING PV MATERIALS WITH UNIQUE FEATURES FOR NOVEL BIPV FACADE APPLICATIONS WILL BE EXPLORED TO REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN BUILDINGS (WP2) AND TO SUPPORT THE PLANNING OF PV INTEGRATION IN BUILDINGS THROUGH A RELIABLE BIPV CLIMATE INFORMATION TOOL (WP3). THE MANAGEMENT AND DISSEMINATION OF THE RESULTS ARE INCLUDED IN WP4. NTUA (SIMOR) WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT OF METHODS AND TOOLS RELATED TO WP1 AND IN THE PREPARATION OF THE TECHNICAL REPORT (DELIVERABLE) OF WP1, WHICH WILL APPEAR AS A SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION IN A Q1 JOURNAL. FINALLY, NTUA WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE PRESENTATION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE RESEARCH RESULTS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF WP4.
