Description: | THE PROJECT AIMS TO ADAPT EXISTING TECHNOLOGIES, SUCH AS RADARS, TELESCOPES AND LASERS, TO SUIT THE EVOLVING LEO SENSOR ENVIRONMENT AND STRIVES TO ENHANCE SENSOR PERFORMANCE BY IMPROVING MEASUREMENTS QUALITY AND ENHANCING TRACK ACCURACY ALONG WITH THE DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, AND INTEGRATION OF IMPROVED SENSORS. ADDITIONALLY, THE PROJECT WILL DRIVE INNOVATION IN ORDER TO ENABLE THE DETECTION OF SMALLER OBJECTS IN THE LEO REGION. THE PROJECT ALSO EXPLORES PROMISING TECHNOLOGIES THAT CAN FACILITATE PRECISE TRACKING AND DATA PROCESSING, INCLUDING NTUA'S INVOLVEMENT IN PRECISE ORBIT DETERMINATION. |
