Description: | THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESEARCH PROJECT IS THE IN-DEPTH STUDY, DESIGN, AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE APPROPRIATE HOLISTIC QUALITY MANAGEMENT TOOLS IN THE VEGETABLE OIL INDUSTRY IN ORDER TO CONTINUOUSLY OPTIMIZE THE FINAL PRODUCTS THROUGH THE CONTROL OF RAW MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND PROCESSING CONDITIONS, STORAGE, HANDLING AND COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION. IN THIS WAY, AUTOMATION IS ACHIEVED, AND SYSTEM EFFICIENCY IS INCREASED, SINCE THE "SMART" DIGITAL TOOLS WILL PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING PARAMETERS OF EACH PRODUCT, COMBINING DATA FROM THE SUPPLY AND COST OF RAW AND PACKAGING MATERIALS, TIME AND MANPOWER, EQUIPMENT PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCTION ORGANIZATION, QUALITY CONTROL OF PRODUCTS / LINES, WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT AND PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, ETC. AT THE SAME TIME, THE EXISTING QUALITY CONTROL AND RISK ANALYSIS SYSTEMS ARE STRENGTHENED AND FULL TRACEABILITY AND CONTROL OF RAW MATERIALS AND FINISHED PRODUCTS IS ENABLED. FINALLY, THE MOST RATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF ENERGY AND RESOURCES AND THE MINIMIZATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT ARE ENSURED, THUS FACILITATING THE TRANSITION TO THE NEXT GENERATION OF INDUSTRIAL EFFICIENCY, RESILIENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY. |
