Description: PHOTOGRAMMETRIC TECHNIQUES ARE A FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENT OF GEOINFORMATICS AND ARE EXTENSIVELY USED IN VARIOUS APPLICATIONS, RANGING FROM CARTOGRAPHY AND URBAN PLANNING TO ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT. PHOTOGRAMMETRY INVOLVES THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS OR IMAGERY TO MEASURE AND EXTRACT ACCURATE GEOSPATIAL INFORMATION. HERE ARE SOME KEY PHOTOGRAMMETRIC TECHNIQUES EMPLOYED IN GEOINFORMATICS:(I) AERIAL PHOTOGRAMMETRY, (II)TERRESTRIAL PHOTOGRAMMETRY, (III) CLOSE-RANGE PHOTOGRAMMETRY, (IV) DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING, (V) 3D RECONSTRUCTION, (VI) FEATURE EXTRACTION, (VII) CHANGE DETECTION. PHOTOGRAMMETRIC TECHNIQUES ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF GEOINFORMATICS, PROVIDING ACCURATE AND RELIABLE SPATIAL DATA FOR A WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS. THESE TECHNIQUES ENABLE THE CREATION OF DETAILED MAPS, DIGITAL TERRAIN MODELS, 3D MODELS, AND THE ANALYSIS OF SPATIAL PHENOMENA, SUPPORTING DECISION-MAKING IN VARIOUS DOMAINS.
