Description: PRIM-ROCK PROJECT REPRESENTS A NEW FRONTIER IN THE METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY IN VIEW OF DEVELOPING AND DEMONSTRATING THE NECESSARY FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE THAT WILL PAVE THE WAY TO SUSTAINABLE, MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT MINERAL PROCESSES WITH LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT. THE PROJECT WILL ALSO DEMONSTRATE AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO TREAT MINERALS COUPLED WITH ONSITE RENEWABLE HYDROGEN PRODUCTION, POWERED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. EFFECTIVE PRE-TREATMENT OF RAW MATERIAL ORES WILL BE ENABLED THROUGH ACCURATE, MACHINE-ASSISTED CLASSIFICATION AND SORTING, AS WELL AS BY DETERMINING THE OPTIMAL CRUSHING SIZE WHICH GREATLY INFLUENCES EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY. A PLASMA REACTOR COUPLED WITH AN IMMEDIATE HEAT EXCHANGING SYSTEM WILL RECOVER Η2 AND S FROM H2S PRODUCED DURING DIRECT REDUCTION OF SULFIDES WITH H2. DEMONSTRATION ACTIONS INCLUDE INDUSTRIAL MINERALS, CEMENT AND NONFERROUS METALS SECTORS
