Description: | THE V-GEOSCIED PROJECT AIMS TO DEVELOP INNOVATIVE HYBRID PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES AT HIGHER LEVELS OF EDUCATION, PROMOTING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION INTO GEOGRAPHY AND GEOSCIENCES TEACHING THROUGH VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS, IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL CHANGE (INCLUDING CLIMATE CHANGE, BIODIVERSITY, OF POLLUTION, HEALTH ISSUES, ETC.). THE PROJECT WILL PROVIDE TEACHERS WITH THE TOOLS TO IMPLEMENT HYBRID TEACHING TECHNIQUES, EMPHASIZING EXPERIENTIAL AND PARTICIPATORY LEARNING. THE GOAL IS TO FOSTER ACTIVE, INNOVATIVE AND EFFECTIVE TEACHING PRACTICES WITH AN EMPHASIS ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION POLICIES. THE TEAM FROM THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS (NTUA) WILL FOCUS ON DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE AND PARTICIPATORY TEACHING METHODS, CREATING TOOLKITS ( CHATBOTS ETC) AND LEVERAGING VIRTUAL FIELDWORK TO ADDRESS ISSUES RELATED TO GLOBAL CHANGE AND SUSTAINABILITY |
